For Resin-backed Paper:
1. Insert Pad Nut (15) through sandpaper and Backing Pads (16).
2. Always use both Backing Pads (discs), with 3" pad positioned closest to sander. Make sure the
pad's label faces the Sander. See illustration (Dwg. TP PF150).
3. Thread Pad Nut (15) into Flange (14) of Sander.
4. Hold sanding adapter with the Insert Holding Tool (17). Turn backing pad and sandpaper
until Pad Nut (15) is tight against Flange (14).
5. Remove Insert Holding Tool (17).

For Pressure Sensitive Paper:
1. Insert Pad Nut (15) through Backing Pads (16).
2. Always use both Backing Pads (discs), with 3" pad positioned closest to sander. Make sure the
pad's label faces the Sander. See illustration (Dwg. TP PF150).
3. Thread Pad Nut (15) into Flange (14) of Sander.
4. Hold Sanding Adapter with the Insert Holding Tool (17). Turn the Backing Pad and sandpaper
until Pad Nut (15) is tight against Flange (14).
5. Remove backing. Press paper firmly against backing Pad. Paper should be centered into pad,
over hanging no edge of the pad by more than ¼".
Parts and Maintenance
When the life of the tool has expired, it is recommended that the tool be disassembled,
degreased and parts be separated by material so that they can be recycled.
