c) Pairing the headset
• This headset can be paired with two mobile phones.
• The headset must be turned off before pairing.
• Push and hold the call button (1) for 7 seconds until the red and blue LED blink alternately.
The headset is now in pairing mode.
• Activate the Bluetooth function on your mobile device (e.g. smartphone) and start the
search function for Bluetooth devices (read the user manual of your mobile device for more
information).
• Select the headset "BH703" from the list of found devices.
• When prompted by your mobile device to enter a PIN, enter "0000" to pair the headset with
your mobile device.
Some mobile telephones require a separate connection to be established after
pairing. Read the user manual of your mobile device for more information.
• When pairing is successful, the headset switches to standby mode and the blue LED blinks
1 x every 7 seconds. When connected to a mobile phone, the name of the headset appears
in the menu that shows currently paired Bluetooth devices.
If the headset cannot be paired, check whether the rechargeable battery is charged
and/or whether the headset is on and paired. Also check whether the Bluetooth
function on your mobile device is activated and whether the headset is within
transmission range (10 meters).
If no connection can be established in a longer period of time, the headset turns off
the pairing function. The headset must be restarted before operation.
• In order to pair a second mobile phone, push the volume – button for 4 seconds until the
red and blue light flashes alternately. The headset is ready for pairing and you can pair the
second mobile phone.

to the headset when headset and mobile phone are paired.

accept an incoming call.

• Rejecting a call: Push and hold the call button for 2 seconds until the headset beeps to reject
an incoming call.
• Voice input: You can direct call a person by speaking their name into the microphone. Your
mobile phone must be set up for this function and you must prerecord all respective voice
actions. Activate voice recognition on your mobile device. Set up your phone's hands-free
phone system. Push and hold the volume button + (5) for 3 seconds while no call is being
made. The headset beeps. Say the name of the person you wish to call, loudly and clearly.
• Redialing: Push the call button 2 x in quick succession. The headset beeps. The last number
dialed will be called when you release the call button.

button for 2 seconds until the headset beeps. The call is switched from the headset to your
mobile phone (and back when you repeat the step).
• If the headset is connected to two mobile phones you can switch between the mobile phones
by pushing the volume button + for 3 seconds. For instance, during a talk on the currently
connected mobile phone you can push the volume button + for 3 seconds to receive a phone
call on the second mobile phone. Push the call button (1) to end the call.
• After switching the headset off and then on again, if two mobile phones (multi-link mode) are
connected, the headset will automatically connect with the mobile phone which has been
connected most recently. You can connect with the first mobile phone manually by pressing
the volume button + for 3 seconds. Pressing the volume button + for 3 seconds will switch
between two connected mobile phones.
e) Music playback
You can transmit music from your mobile phone to the headset. For this function, your mobile
phone must support the Bluetooth standard A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). When
you receive an incoming call, audio playback is interrupted so you can accept the call. Not
all mobile phones support this function; headset playback may not be possible in such case.
• Use the volume buttons + and – to set the volume as during phone operation.
