WARNING: Never use the heater without first as-
sembling all the components correctly and making
sure the heater is positioned on a perfectly flat, sta-
ble and level surface.
►►5.1. SWITCH-ON:
►5.1.1. Connect the heater's plug to the mains (Fig. 3).
►5.1.2. Connect the room thermostat to the heater (Fig.
4) (If the heater is not connected to the room thermostat,
it will run at the maximum heating output).
►5.1.3. Set the power selector at the desired mode (A
Fig.. 2). Here are the available settings:
• By setting the power selector to "FAN" the heater will
only operate in ventilation mode.
• By setting the power selector to "HEATING" the heater
will operate at the maximum heating output.
CAUTION: A SERIES OF SENSORS CHECK THAT
THE HEATER IS OPERATING CORRECTLY AND
STOPS THE APPLIANCE IN THE EVENT OF A SERI-
OUS FAULT. THE HEATER WILL NOT RESUME OP-
ERATION AUTOMATICALLY, THIS MUST BE PER-
FORMED MANUALLY. WAIT FOR THE HEATER TO
COOL DOWN COMPLETELY AND REMOVE ANY-
THING WHICH MIGHT HAVE BLOCKED THE HEATER
(E.G. OBSTRUCTED AN AIR VENT, IMPAIRED THE
AIR SUPPLY, ETC.) AND PRESS THE "RESET" BUT-
TON ALL THE WAY DOWN (Fig. 5). MAKE SURE THE
"BLOCKED HEATER INDICATOR (C Fig. 2)" TURNS
OFF. IF, AFTER A FEW ATTEMPTS TO RESUME OP-
ERATION, THE HEATER DOES NOT WORK, CON-
TACT THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICE.
►►8. TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE

►►5.2. SWITCH-OFF:
►5.2.1. Set the power selector to "0/OFF" (A Fig. 2) and
leave the fan working until the heater fully turns off.
►5.2.2. Disconnect the heater from the mains.
CAUTION: AVOID DISCONNECTING THE HEATER
FROM THE MAINS BEFORE THE FAN HAS COM-
PLETELY STOPPED MOVING TO AVOID SERIOUS
DAMAGE.
►►6. STORAGE
Always disconnect the heater from the mains power sup-
ply (Fig. 10) when not in use and wait a few minutes for
it to cool down completely before putting it away. Put it
back in a dry place and protected from dust. When the
heater is used again, check the condition of the power
supply cable. If in doubt regarding its state, contact the
technical support centre. In any case, have the technical
support centre check that the heater is working properly
at least once a year and/or as required.
►►7. CONNECTING THE REMOTE ROOM
THERMOSTAT
Remove the plug connected to the heater and connect
the remote room thermostat (Fig. 4).
CAUTION: TO ENSURE CORRECT OPERATION, THE
HEATER MUST HAVE EITHER THE PLUG COVER,
OR THE REMOTE ROOM THERMOSTAT, OTHERWI-
SE THE HEATER WILL NOT TURN ON.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
1. Turn the power selector to the desired mode
2a. Insert the room thermostat's plug correctly
2b. Make sure the temperature set on the room thermostat is
higher than the outdoor temperature
2c. Make sure the cap of the thermostat outlet is inserted
correctly
3a. Insert the power supply cable correctly
3b. Make sure your mains power supply is working correctly
3c. Contact a support centre
4a. Turn the heater back on
