10. Maintenance and inspection
The OptiLink contains only electronics and no mov-
ing parts. Therefore it needs no preventive mainte-
nance.
10.1. Cleaning
The suction cup has to be cleaned to be sure opti-
mal adhesion is not prevented by powder or dust.
Occasionally degrease it.
Do not use aggressive solvents or abrasive sub-
stances. Otherwise the suction cup may become
brittle.
10.2. Test
Functional Test
The function of the OptiLink can easily be tested
together with a CEDES device, equipped with an
OptiLink interface together with the CEDES con-
figuration tool software. Data communication can be
tested using the diagnosis function.
