Safety Precautions
CAUTION!
This appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory and mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Before connecting the appliance to the power
supply, check that the voltage indicated on the
appliance corresponds with the voltage at your
home.
• Ensure that the kettle is operated on a firm and flat
surface.
• Always ensure the power plug is firmly inserted into
the wall socket while the kettle is in use.
• The kettle can only be used to boil water and tea.
Do not use it to cook coffee, alcohol or other liquids.
• Only use this appliance within the household for its
intended purpose, not outdoors.
• Please make sure that the kettle is not filled above
capacity for boiling water (max. 1,5L) and for
preparing tea (max. 1,25L) to prevent injuries due to
hot water.
• Always use the kettle with the attached power base.
• Do not let the power cord of the appliance hang over
table edges, work surfaces or any hot surfaces.
• Do not move the appliance when switched on.
• Please refrain from further usage if the power cord,
power plug or other parts are damaged. In case of
