Transport and storage

4.1 Safety instructions

Risk of injury and damage!
Transporting a table that has already been
assembled may result in injury or damage.
Only transport the conference table
when it has been dissassembled!
CAUTION
Risk of damage!
Moving the Potrero415 conference table
will cause the adjusting wheels to rotate
and possible damage to the table may
occur.

4.2 Interim storage

If the conference table has to be temporarily stored
before installation, the following conditions should
be fulfilled:
Undamaged transport packaging

Sufficient carrying capacity of the floor
■
Dry floor
■
Level storage surface
■
Temperature range +5 °C to +40 °C
■
Max. rel. humidity: 80 %
■
4.3 Checking the delivery
contents
After unpacking, check the product immediately for
transport damage and completeness; if applicable,
inform the manufacturer as soon as possible of any
damage.
4.4 Disposing the packaging
material
The packaging includes the following:
Outer packaging made of cardboard

Corner protectors made of polyethylene (PE)

These materials are recyclable. If assembled by
Steelcase or an assembly company authorised by
Steelcase, the manufacturer will dispose of the
packaging. If you install yourself, please ensure
sorted separation and return to the recycling cycle.

4.5 Conference table assembly

For assembly of the Potrero415 conference table,
please follow the attached assembly instructions.
Steelcase recommends that a specialist
dealer or assembly company carries out
the assembly.
Setup and use of the product require detailed
planning. For this purpose, Steelcase AG offers its
own planning department.
The partially assembled components of the
Potrero415 conference table are usually delivered
by specialist dealers or directly from the
manufacturer.

4.6 Attaching accessories

For attaching accessories such as cable ducts or
power connections on the Potrero415 conference
table, please refer to the enclosed assembly
instructions.
4.7 Conference table
disassembly
The Potrero415 conference table can be
disassembled. Disassembly should be carried out by
qualified personnel. Ask the manufacturer for
disassembly instructions.
Before you disassemble the conference table:
Remove all objects from the conference table.
First remove the glass top (optional)
If you want to disassemble the
Potrero415 conference table for good and
dispose of it, follow the instructions
Disposal, page 10.
