1-2 The values shown in the chart are standard values. The necessary speed depends
on the material and the operating conditions, and can be determined by practical
testing.
After longer periods of working at low speed, allow the machine to cool by running for
approx. 3 minutes at maximum speed with no load.
g. Mount guide bushing (Fig.7)
Fig. 7
Note: Choose a router bit with a smaller diameter than the inner diameter of the guide
bushing. The diameter of blade more than 15mm can't be used by this guide bushing.

1. The guide bushing enables template
and pattern routing on work-pieces.
2. Detach the two screws on the
bottom and fix guide bushing in the
bottom of the base plate with the
two screws.
3. Lay the router with the guide
bushing against the template.
4. Switch on the router. Loosen l
plunge lock lever and slowly lower
the router to the work-piece,
until the adjusted depth-of-cut is
reached. Tighten plunge lock lever.
5. Lead the router with projecting
guide bushing along the template,
with light sideward pressure.
Note: the template must have a minimum thickness of 6mm, due to the projecting
height of the guide bushing.
h. Routing circular arc profiles (Fig.8)
1. Remove the parallel guide and insert the guide rods into the base plate, tighten
centering pin to guide rods with wing bolt.
2. Puncture centering pin into marked centre of the circular arc and guide router with
consistent feed across the workpiece surface

Chip shield (Fig.9)
Always wear eye protection. The chip shield is not intended as a safety
!
guard.
WARNING
There is a transparent chip shield placed on the base plate and it can't be removed out.
During operation, put the chip shield on vertical position.
During Installing/removing router bit, turn the chip shield to horizontal position.
!
The chip shield helps to keep dust and chips away from the operator; it
will not stop objects larger than woodchips that are thrown from the
bit.
