Principle functioning

The emulator AEB387 has been designed to solve the reading
problem of the signal "RPM" on the 4-cylinder vehicles with static
ignition and with a coil or double-coil per cylinder an
ignition-integrated power transistor. In these systems, the
ignition control unit drives the power transistors with a low
voltage signal; anyway this signal cannot be read by the current
electronic central control units (feedback and switches). With
the installation of the emulator AEB387, the low voltage signal
is amplified and summed in order to get the exact engine RPM.
