PMRSET – PMR TRANSMITTER/RECEIVER SET
1. Introduction
Thank you for buying the PMRSET, a two-way communication system with a long range. The PMRSET is a light and
practical device with a compact design.
2. Features

3. Installing Batteries
Turn the power off and remove the belt clip. Open the battery compartment and insert 3 AA-batteries. Respect the
polarity. Close the battery compartment.
Always replace old batteries by new batteries and replace all batteries at once. Do not mix old with new ones. Do not
mix different battery types or batteries of different capacity. Do not mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
4. Operation
a) Insert the batteries and close the battery compartment. Turn the POWER ON/OFF adjustment clockwise to
activate the device, which will be confirmed by a "DO" sound. Turn the VOLUME adjustment clockwise to set the
desired volume.
b) Emitter and receiver should be tuned in to the same channel. Select the desired channel with the ▲ and ▼
buttons. The current channel is displayed on the LCD.
c) Hold the MON-button to hear everything being said on a channel, including weak transmissions and radios set to
a different quiet frequency. The unit should be in receiving mode. Release the MON-button to turn the automatic
squelch back on.
d) Press the CALL button to call other parties. Receiving parties will hear a call signal if their device is tuned in to the
same channel. He can then press the PTT button and talk to you.
e) Press the PTT button to address your interlocutor, who will have to wait until you have released the PTT button.
Only then can he press the PTT button to talk himself.
f) If necessary, you can use the MIC and EARPHONE jack during communication. Push the plug all the way in. The
SPK and MIC outlets have a diameter of 2.5mm.
g) The letter "L" is displayed when the battery is running low and needs to be replaced. The device will perform
inadequately if the batteries are not replaced.
h) Turn the volume control to the far left to turn the volume off.
