INSTALLAZIONE

DESCRIPTION
The signal repeater is used to improve the range of the radio connection between a
control device and an actuation one of the CHORUS RF series, when structural
obstacles cause dead zones for broadcasting the radio signal.
The signal repeater also integrates the function of a 1-channel actuator since it is
fitted with a 16 A relay with N.O. contact.
Each signal repeater can manage up to a maximum of 16 different input radio
channels that can be used freely for the repeater function or for the internal relay
control function (e.g. 12 channels for the repeater, 4 for relay control).
The signal repeater is provided with a three-colored (yellow/red/green)
multifunction LED (B) to show the operating mode and a button on the front (A) for
association transmission. The module is powered at 230V ac 50Hz.
A wire inlet can be used to connect contacts without potential of control appliances. A
rotary switch is used to select the configuration, operational functioning, inhibition
and cancellation mode.

CONFIGURATION
Learning repeater function configuration
All that is required to learn a control is to turn the switch to position 0: the
multifunction LED becomes fixed red.
At this point it is necessary to intervene on the control device it is intended to pair,
as described in the relative instruction sheet, in such a way as to generate the
required control message: the multifunction LED becomes slow blinking green
showing that the connection between the control device and the signal repeater has
been created.
On the other hand proceed as follows to create the connection between the signal
repeater and the required output module: set the switch of the output module
(actuator) to position 0 (fixed red LED switches on) and press the signal repeater's
transmission button (A). The repeater's LED becomes fast blinking green showing
that the connection has been created.
To make connections with several signal repeaters in succession, carry out the
procedure listed above being careful to put only one repeater at a time into learning
mode.
