Filter Replacement - Mestra Eolo Plus R-080531 Bedienungsanleitung

English
Every time there is an obstruction in the aspiration hose or the filter is full, the unit will stop and the red LED
pilot (4) will light intermittently. If the unit was operating in automatic mode, the aspiration will not start up until
it detects that the filter is in good condition, even if the micromotor is in operation. If the unit was working in
manual mode, the aspiration will stop and the LED pilot will cease to light. To start the unit up again, press the
[START/STOP] key. If after the "Filter-full" time the unit fails to detect that the filter is in good condition, the
aspiration will stop again.
The "Obstruction/Filter Full" detection system has been designed to protect the aspiration unit from
any eventuality. Under no circumstances should you wait to replace the filter until the detection
system operates. Check the filling level of the filter-bag periodically and proceed to replace it (see
"Filter and replacement" section in this manual).
The aspiration unit also features a motor protection system, which disconnects the motor after operating
continuously for more than 3 hours. In this case, the unit will stop for 1 hour. The aim of this system is to
prevent motor damage when the unit, by an oversight, is in operation for a too long period. When this occurs,
the aspiration LED pilot (1) will light up intermittently. The unit will not aspirate until the main switch (7) is
turned off and on again.
The automatic start-up system allows connecting a sand blast up to 400 W. If this power is exceeded, the
thermal switch (9) will disconnect the micromotor. When this happens, wait for about 10 minutes before
resetting the thermal switch again by pressing the key.
SELF-CALIBRATION FOR MICRO MOTOR DETECTION
1. To adjust the detection of the micro motor, turn the unit on and press the keys [AUTO/MAN.] and
[START/STOP] simultaneously for 5 seconds until the message '1-' is displayed, indicating which outlet is
to be adjusted. To select another outlet (2- or 3-) press the key [AUTO/MAN.].
2. Once the outlet with the micro motor to calibrate has been selected, keep the micro motor pedal pressed
(spin min.). Press the key [AUTO/MAN.] for 2 seconds to start the self-calibration.
3. If the self-calibration succeed, the message 'P1', 'P2' or 'P3' will be displayed.
4. Press the key [AUTO/MAN.] for the following outlet (or end of calibration).
5. Press the key [START/STOP] to escape in any moment.

FILTER REPLACEMENT

The EOLO PLUS aspiration unit features a three-stage filtering circuit: the first stage is a recyclable filter-bag;
the second stage is a cartridge-type absolute filter; and the third stage is a plate-filter placed in the clean
chamber. This latter filter has an unlimited duration, so it should only be replaced occasionally and by the
Technical Service. To clean and replace the filters proceed as follows:
Replacing the filter-bag:
1. Open the aspiration unit's upper lid (D) by opening the lock (C). Remove the filter-bag together with the lid
of the machine's aspiration chamber. Be extremely careful while performing this operation to prevent dust
particles falling into the unit's aspiration chamber.
2. Place the new filter inside the aspiration chamber and make sure that it fits over the ring of the aspiration
nozzle (A), and that the filter base rests on the lower tray of the aspiration chamber.
3. Close the unit's upper lid again.
Replacing the cartridge-filter:
1. Open the aspiration unit's upper lid (D) by opening the lock (C) and remove it together with the filter-bag.
2. Remove the four fixing bolts of the lower tray inside the aspiration chamber. Then remove the tray.
3. Carefully remove the cartridge for dust particles not to fall into the aspiration motor's intake.
4. Place the fresh cartridge-filter and proceed to set again the rest of the components in reverse order.
The cartridge-filter cannot be recycled, so it always needs to be replaced. It is recommended to replace it
every 1500 or 2000 operating hours of the unit.
