2. Safety Instructions
● This device can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the device in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without supervision.
● Indoor use only. Keep this device away from rain and
moisture. Never put objects filled with liquid on top of or
close to the device. ● Do not disassemble or open the
cover under any circumstances. Touching live wires can
cause life-threatening electroshocks. ● The housing might
heat up during usage. Keep minimum distances around
the device for sufficient ventilation. Place the device on a
flat heat resistant surface, do not place the device on
carpets, fabrics... ● Always disconnect mains power when
the device is not in use or when servicing or maintenance
activities are performed. Do not pull the cable. ● Keep
this device away from extreme heat. ● Protect this device
from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating
the device. ● Do not use the device when damage to
housing or cables is noticed. Do not attempt to service
the device yourself but contact an authorised dealer.
3. General Guidelines
● Refer to the Velleman ® Service and Quality Warranty on
www.velleman.eu. ● Familiarise yourself with the
functions of the device before actually using it. ● All
modifications of the device are forbidden for safety
reasons. Damage caused by user modifications to the
device is not covered by the warranty. ● Only use the
device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an
unauthorised way will void the warranty. ● Damage
caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this
information sheet is not covered by the warranty and the
dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing
defects or problems. ● Make sure that the electronic device
for which the adapter will be used is technically compliant
and compatible with this adapter. ● Make sure the device is
installed close to the power outlet. ● Make sure the power
outlet is easily accessible.
4. Operation
● Select the appropriate plug for your device and connect
it to the adaptor cable. Refer to the table below. The plug
only fits one way – do not force. ● Connect the plug to
your device and connect the adapter to a suitable mains
outlet. ● The LCD shows the current output voltage
(depends on the connected device).

● Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking
new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or
strong detergents.

1. Inleiding
Aan alle ingezetenen van de Europese Unie
Belangrijke milieu-informatie betreffende dit
product
Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan
dat, als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt
weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan
toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel (en
eventuele batterijen) niet bij het gewone
huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een
gespecialiseerd bedrijf terechtkomen voor
recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw verdeler of naar
een lokaal recyclagepunt brengen. Respecteer de
plaatselijke milieuwetgeving. Hebt u vragen,
contacteer dan de plaatselijke autoriteiten
betreffende de verwijdering.

2. Veiligheidsvoorschriften
● Dit toestel is geschikt voor gebruik door kinderen vanaf
8 jaar, door personen met fysieke, zintuiglijke of
verstandelijke beperkingen, of door personen met gebrek
aan ervaring en kennis, op voorwaarde dat dit onder
toezicht gebeurt van een persoon die verantwoordelijk is
voor hun veiligheid of hun aanwijzingen heeft gegeven,
hoe zij het toestel moeten gebruiken en zich bewust zijn
van de risico's die het gebruik van het toestel met zich
meebrengt. Kinderen mogen niet met het toestel spelen.
Reiniging en onderhoud mogen niet worden uitgevoerd
door kinderen zonder toezicht. ● Gebruik het toestel
enkel binnenshuis. Bescherm dit toestel tegen regen en
vochtigheid. Plaats geen objecten gevuld met vloeistof op
of naast het toestel. ● Demonteer of open dit toestel
nooit. Raak geen kabels aan die onder stroom staan, om
dodelijke elektroschokken te vermijden. ● Bij gebruik kan
de behuizing opwarmen. Houd voldoende ruimte rondom
het toestel vrij voor een goede ventilatie. Plaats het
toestel op een effen, hittebestendig oppervlak en zet het
nooit op een tapijt, een kleed... ● Trek de stekker uit het
stopcontact wanneer het toestel niet in gebruik is of
voordat u het toestel reinigt. Trek niet aan de kabel.
● Bescherm dit toestel tegen extreme hitte. ● Bescherm
tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de
bediening. ● Gebruik het toestel niet indien de behuizing
of de bekabeling beschadigd is. Probeer in geen geval het
toestel zelf te repareren maar contacteer uw verdeler.
3. Algemene richtlijnen
● Raadpleeg de Velleman ® service- en kwaliteitsgarantie
op www.velleman.eu. ● Leer eerst de functies van het
toestel kennen voor u het gaat gebruiken. ● Om
veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen.
Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft
aangebracht aan het toestel valt niet onder de garantie.
● Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. De
garantie vervalt automatisch bij ongeoorloofd gebruik.
● De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren
van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer
zal de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of
problemen die hier rechtstreeks verband mee houden.
● Controleer of het elektronische toestel technisch
conform en compatibel is met deze adapter. ● Installeer
het toestel dicht bij het stopcontact. ● Zorg ervoor dat
het stopcontact gemakkelijk bereikbaar is.
4. Gebruik
● Kies de gepaste plug voor uw toestel en verbind deze
met de adapterkabel. Zie overzicht hierna. De plug past
slechts op één manier, forceer niets. ● Verbind de plug
met uw toestel en verbind de adapter met een geschikt
stopcontact. ● De display toont de huidige
uitgangsspanning (afhankelijk van het aangesloten
toestel).

6. Onderhoud
● Reinig het toestel af en toe met een vochtige doek.
Gebruik geen bijtende chemische producten,
reinigingsmiddelen of sterke detergenten.

2. Consignes de sécurité
● Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants âgés de

formées et encadrées quant à l'utilisation de l'appareil

Ne pas laisser les enfants jouer avec l'appareil. Le
nettoyage et l'entretien effectués normalement par
l'utilisateur ne doivent pas l'être par des enfants sans
supervision. ● Utiliser cet appareil uniquement à
l'intérieur. Protéger l'appareil contre la pluie et l'humidité.
Ne jamais placer d'objets remplis de liquides au-dessus
ou à proximité de l'appareil. ● Ne jamais désassembler ni
ouvrir le boîtier. Toucher un câble sous tension peut
causer des électrochocs mortels. ● Le boîtier chauffe
pendant l'usage. Libérer l'espace autour de l'appareil afin
de garantir une ventilation adéquate. Placer l'appareil sur
une surface plane, résistante à la chaleur. Ne pas le
placer sur un tapis, tissu, etc. ● Toujours déconnecter
l'appareil lorsque l'appareil n'est pas utilisé ou avant de le
nettoyer. Ne pas tirer sur le câble. ● Protéger cet appareil
contre la chaleur extrême. ● Protéger l'appareil des
chocs. Traiter l'appareil avec circonspection pendant
l'opération. ● Ne pas utiliser l'appareil si le boîtier ou le
câblage est endommagé. Ne pas essayer de réparer

garantie. ● N'utiliser l'appareil qu'à sa fonction prévue.
Un usage impropre annule d'office la garantie. ● La
garantie ne s'applique pas aux dommages survenus en
négligeant certaines directives de ce mode d'emploi et
votre revendeur déclinera toute responsabilité pour les
problèmes et les défauts qui en résultent. ● S'assurer que
l'appareil à connecter soit techniquement conforme et
compatible avec cet adaptateur. ● Veiller à installer
l'appareil près de la prise électrique. ● S'assurer que la
prise électrique est facilement accessible.
4. Description
● Sélectionner la fiche appropriée pour votre appareil et
la connecter au câble de l'adaptateur. Voir l'aperçu ci-
dessous. La fiche ne se connecte que d'une seule façon,
ne pas forcer. ● Insérer la fiche dans l'appareil et
connecter l'adaptateur au réseau. ● L'afficheur indique la
tension de sortie actuelle (dépend de l'appareil
connecté).

6. Entretien
● Nettoyer occasionnellement l'appareil avec un chiffon
humide. Ne pas utiliser d'agents chimiques agressifs, de
solvants ni de détergents puissants.
