Proceed with the following four steps:
Steps 1 and 2: To install both supplied rubber type interphase
barriers, slide each barrier in until the dove tail shaped keys
on the barrier firmly engage the two mounting slots at the top
and bottom of the cassette's backpan. Three barriers would be
required for a four-pole breaker. Refer to Figure 1 for an addi-
tional reference.

Step 3: Once the barriers are installed, they will feel securely
mounted to the touch and appear as shown.

Step 4: Reverse the procedure to remove the barriers from
the cassette.
Section 3: Fixed breaker barriers
Rear connect primary covers on the rear of the fixed breaker
have two sets of molded friction fit guides to secure the bar-
riers in place. There are two guides near the top and two near
the bottom that are used for mounting Eaton supplied inter-
phase barriers (Figure 5).
