Digestion end
Standard programs 100 and HT, and user-specific
digestion operations
The cooling-down phase (automatic rapid cooling) begins immediately
after the digestion time has elapsed and after the digestion is aborted by
pressing key 4 under Esc. As soon as a temperature of approx. 80 °C
is reached, the lock is automatically released; the Close flap instruction
on the display must always be observed. The end of the cooling-down
phase or the abortion of the digestion is signaled by an acoustic sound
and by the Digestion over! message on the display.
Press key 4 under ESC to return to the main menu.
Standard program COD
The cooling-down phase is stopped at a temperature of approx. 100 °C
and the lid lock is released. This is indicated by an acoustic signal.
The Please invert cuvette message appears on the display.
N O T I C E
Take care when inverting — the cuvettes are hot! Wear protective clothing,
protective gloves and safety glasses/face protection that are suitable for the work
being performed.
After the cuvettes have been inverted and placed back in the
thermostats, and the lid has been closed, key 3 under the arrow
symbol can be pressed to continue cooling to a temperature of approx.
44 °C. In this instance, the lid is locked again until the temperature has
cooled to 80 °C.
The end of the cooling-down phase or the abortion of the digestion is
indicated by an acoustic signal and by the Digestion over! message on
the display.
Press key 4 under Esc to return to the main menu.

User programs

There are nine program locations available that can be configured by the
user.

1 Temperature menu

3 Press key to select CPRG. User-
specific digestion programs can
be deleted using the CPRG
menu.
User-specific digestion programs are programmed using the PRG menu.
The digestion term, temperature, digestion time and position must
be defined or calculated by the user.
Enter the digestion term
Press key 1 to set the saved alphanumeric character set to the required
number, letter or space.
Press key 2 to move the character shown as _ on the display one place
to the right or back to the starting position.
A maximum of three characters can be entered.
