7 Control GAIN for the input gain
8 Equalizer controls for the high frequencies (H),
mid-frequencies (M) and low frequencies (L)
9 Control AUX / FX to add the channel signal to
the send way AUX and to the internal effect
unit;
the signal will be routed to the send way and
the effect unit after the channel fader (12)
10 Panorama control PAN to place the mono
signal in the stereo sound;
for the stereo channel, the control is used as
a balance control
11 LED indicator PK: will light up briefly when
the maximum undistorted signal level has
been reached . If it lights up for a longer time,
the channel is overloaded; in this case, turn
back the control GAIN (7) .
12 Channel fader for the volume of the channel
13 Display for the effect number selected 1 – 16
14 Rotary knob PROG for effect selection
When the rotary knob is turned for effect
selection, the effect number will flash on the
display (13) for a few seconds; the previous
effect will still be activated . To activate the
effect selected, press the knob; the effect
number will stop flashing .
15 Control PARAM for the number of effect
repeats
16 Control FX to adjust the input level for the
effect unit; if the effect signal is distorted,
turn back the control accordingly
17 Level control SEND for the signal of the send
way AUX that is available at the output

18 Control RET to add the input signal available
at the jack RETURN (4) to the sum signal
19 Fader FX to add the internal effect signal to
the sum signal; if no effect is to be added,
close the fader
20 Display for the audio player
When the mixer is switched on, the display
will briefly show the welcome message "HI";
when the USB port (27) is not connected,
"no" will be shown on the display
21 Rotary knob PROG for the audio player
– For title selection, turn the knob accord-
ingly
– To switch between replay and pause,
briefly press the knob
22 Button REC to start / stop a recording:
The sum signal will be saved as an MP3 file
on a USB flash drive .

Briefly press the button to go to:
– Bluetooth reception (indication "bLUE")
– no operation (indication "no")
– audio player (brief indication "USb")
Keep the button pressed until the following
is shown:
"onE" = the current title is continuously re-
peated
"ALL" = all titles are continuously repeated
one after the other
24 Equalizer of the audio player for the high
frequencies (H) and the low frequencies (L)
25 Volume control H . P . for the headphones
26 Fader MP3 to add the signal from the audio
player or the USB port (27) to the sum signal
27 USB port
– output for digital sum signal
– input for audio data from the computer
– input for audio files from a USB flash drive
to be replayed by means of the audio
player
28 On / Off switch PH . PWR of the 48 V phantom
power supply for the XLR microphone inputs

Caution: Only use the switch when the mixer
is switched off; otherwise, there may be loud
switching noise .

30 LED indicator "+48 V"; will light up when
the phantom power supply is switched on

signal available at the outputs M L, M R (6)

4 Quick Start

To avoid loud interfering noise, set the control
H . P . (25) to MIN and close the master faders
M L, M R (32) prior to connection /disconnection
and switch-on .
4.1 Connection
1) Connect the signal sources (microphones,
instruments, etc .) to the input jacks (1, 2):
Connect microphones by means of XLR plugs
and units with line level by means of 6 .3 mm
plugs .
When using microphones that require
phantom power supply, press the button
PH . PWR  (28); in all other cases, the button
