Using
1. To switch on the halogen light, press the ON/OFF switch (3) inwards. As long
as you press the ON/OFF switch, the unit will light up. To rest the ON/OFF
switch, hold the ON/OFF switch pressed and slide the locking switch (4)
down. Now the unit is in continuous operation.
2. To release the locking switch, first press the ON/OFF (3) switch inwards and
than slide the locking switch up.
3. To switch on the LEDs, press the ON/OFF switch (5) inwards. The LEDs will
be on until you press the ON/OFF switch (5) again.
If desired, you can operate the hand lamp with halogen light and LED light at
the same time.
General Hints
Do not switch on the lantern if the halogen bulb is not inserted into the bulb
holder. It will damage the electrical circuit.
Preferably charge the lead acid battery after each use with one of the
mentioned methods. If you do not use the lantern for long time, charge
the lantern every three months because the battery discharges after
some time.
Always store the hand lamp with a fully charged battery to achieve maximum
battery service life. To avoid completely discharging and damaging the lead-
acid battery, immediately charge the battery if light power decreases visibly.
To check the capacity of the lead acid battery, press the button (10) down and
keep it pressed. If the three red LEDs light up, the battery is charged. The
less LEDs light up, the more the lead acid battery is discharged.
Changing the Halogen Bulb
1. To replace the halogen bulb, pull out the rubber sleeve from the lamp head.
Please note, the rubber sleeve fits very tightly. Unscrew both screws on the
lamp head ring and remove the ring.
