Do not switch on the lantern if the halogen bulb is not inserted into the bulb
holder. It will damage the electrical circuit.
Preferably charge the battery after each use with one of the mentioned
methods. If you do not use the lantern for long period of time, charge
the lantern every three months.
Always store the lantern with a fully charged battery to achieve maximum
battery service life.
When using the continuous halogen light you can use the lantern for approx.
3 hours. In this setting the battery is discharged most rapidly. When the
lantern is switched to continuous halogen light and starts flashing, turn the
switch to continuous LED light in order to save battery.
Tilting the amp head
Hold the lantern firmly with one hand and tilt the lamp head (1) with the carrying
handle forwards or backwards.
The lamp head can be tilted with the built-in hinge-joint (3) up to 20° forwards and
up to 90° backwards.

Changing the halogen bulb

Open the screw cap of the lamp head only if the lantern has cooled down
completely. There is risk of burns!
1. To replace the halogen bulb, turn the screw cap of the lamp head counter
clockwise.
2. Do not touch the reflector with bare fingers. Always place a halogen bulb of
the same type. See the technical data on page 16.
3. To tighten the lamp head, turn the screw cap in clockwise direction. Turn only
hand tight.

Using the reflector cap

Use the reflector cap ( ) for emergency. Place the reflector cap and set the switch
to LED flashing mode to use the lantern as a warning light.
1. Press the reflector cap into the plastic lamp head and press the cap until it is
flush with the lamp head.
2. To remove the reflector cap, grasp the pins of the cap and pull out.
