3. Installation

The electric boiler ETH is installed on a vertical wall. The heating system must be connected in accordance with the applicable
standard for "Sealed unvented heating systems". For sealed unvented heating systems, a 3 bar safety valve and diaphragm
expansion vessel must also be installed. The size of the vessel depends on the water volume in the heating system. With
open heating vented systems, an overflow vessel must be used. The electric boiler is fitted with a circulation pump. Fit no
other circulation pump for the heating system.
Prior to installing the appliance remove both plugs from the connectors.
On site, install a dirt filter in the heating return (see hydraulic diagram). This prevents the contamination of the heating system
circulation pump.
The power supply must be connected by the installation engineer or customer support installer in accordance with the
applicable regulations. The power cable is routed through the cable entry in the back panel and connected to the terminal
strip according to the wiring diagram.

Near the bottom, under the casing of the microprocessor control unit, are the connections "- R +" for connecting the temperature
controller (room temperature controller). The jumper connected to + and R allows the ETH to be operated without a controller.
In this case, the flow temperature must be set using the temperature selector on the microprocessor control unit.

4. Commissioning

Before commissioning, it is important to ensure that the heating system has been completely filled with water and vented.
The system pressure in the sealed unvented heating system should be approx. 1 to 1.5 bar when the system is cold. The
information about the current system pressure is indicated via 2 LEDs under the word "CIŚNIENIE" (PRESSURE), see Table 1.
The electrical voltage present and the standby status of the electric boiler are indicated via a constant LED light next to the
word "SIEĆ" (MAINS). After any adjustment of the water pressure by filling or draining the water and setting the maximum flow
temperature, the electric boiler is ready for operation.
The flow temperature is set using the temperature selector on the control unit. When the temperature selector is turned anti-
clockwise as far as it will go (
controller function is not activated.
This selector position is recommended during initial commissioning, until it has been determined that the system is free of
leaks and has been vented, and the water pressure is correct.
To facilitate system venting, e.g. during initial commissioning, an additional function has been introduced, enabling the
circulation pump to be started at any time. Pressing the RESET button for 3 seconds switches on the circulation pump for
3 minutes. After this time, the pump then returns to standard mode. During the 3 minutes of runtime, it is possible to switch
off the pump immediately by pressing the RESET button again briefly. This function can be repeated any number of times.
As this is service mode, the red LED is off while the circulation pump is running.
We recommend setting the circulation pump to stage 2 (rotary selector on the pump). The maximum pump speed (stage 3)
is intended for extremely large heating systems or high heat demand.
Operating the circulation pump in stage 1 is not permissible!
