1 Operating Elements and Connections
1.1 TWIST-20LED
1 Display
2 LED DMX lights up if DMX control signals are
present at the DMX INPUT (15)

1.2 Fernbedienung LC-3
Die Fernbedienung LC-3 ist als Zubehör erhältlich und
gehört nicht zum Lieferumfang des TWIST-20LED.
19 Taste STAND BY für den Ruhemodus:
Der Schwenkkopf fährt in die Ausgangsposition
und der Lichtstrahl wird abgeschaltet. Die LED
neben der Taste leuchtet zur Kontrolle.
20 Taste FUNCTION für verschiedene Funktionen
in Abhängigkeit von dem mit der Taste MODE
gewählten Betriebsmodus (Kap. 6.5)
21 Taste MODE zum Wechseln zwischen:
– Stroboskop-Modus;
LED neben der Taste MODE leuchtet nicht
– Show-Modus;
LED neben der Taste MODE blinkt
– manuelle Farb- und Lichtmusterwahl;
LED neben der Taste MODE leuchtet kontinu-
ierlich
Hinweis: Zur Steuerung über die Fernbedienung
darf am Eingang DMX INPUT (15) kein DMX-Signal
anliegen.

1.2 Remote control LC-3
The remote control LC-3 is available as an acces-
sory and is not supplied with the TWIST-20LED.
19 Button STAND BY for the sleep mode:
The pan head goes to the starting position and
the light beam is extinguished. The LED next to
the button lights up as a check.
20 Button FUNCTION for various functions depend-
ing on the operating mode selected with the but-
ton MODE (chapter 6.5)
21 Button MODE for switching between:
– stroboscope mode;
LED next to the button MODE does not light up
– show mode;
LED next to the button MODE flashes
– manual selection of colour and light pattern;
LED next to the button MODE lights up contin-
uously
Note: For control via the remote control no DMX sig-
nal must be present at the DMX INPUT (15).
2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Das Gerät entspricht allen erforderlichen Richtlinien
der EU und ist deshalb mit
gekennzeichnet.
WARNUNG Das Gerät wird mit lebensgefähr -
licher Netzspannung (230 V~) ver-
sorgt. Nehmen Sie deshalb niemals
selbst Eingriffe am Gerät vor, die
nicht in dieser Anleitung beschrieben
sind und stecken Sie nichts durch die
Lüftungsöffnungen! Es besteht die
Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages.
Beachten Sie auch unbedingt die folgenden Punkte:

Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur im In nen bereich
und schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser,
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zu lässiger Ein-
satztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
G
Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäße,
z. B. Trinkgläser, auf das Gerät.
G
Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb und ziehen
Sie sofort den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose,
1. wenn sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder an der
Netzanschlussleitung vorhanden sind,
2. wenn nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem der
Verdacht auf einen Defekt besteht,
3. wenn Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Geben Sie das Gerät in jedem Fall zur Reparatur
in eine Fachwerkstatt.

Eine beschädigte Netzanschlussleitung darf nur
durch eine Fachwerkstatt ersetzt werden.

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nie am Kabel aus der
Steckdose, fassen Sie immer am Stecker an.
G
Fassen Sie das Gerät beim Transport nur am Unter-
teil an. Auf keinen Fall das Gerät am Schwenkkopf
(9) oder Dreharm (11) tragen.
G
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung des Gehäuses nur
ein trockenes, weiches Tuch, niemals Wasser oder
Chemikalien. Für die Linse kann auch ein handels-
übliches Glasreinigungsmittel verwendet werden.
2 Safety Notes
The unit corresponds to all required directives of the
EU and is therefore marked with
WARNING The unit is supplied with hazardous
mains voltage (230 V~). Leave servic-
ing to skilled personnel only. Never
make any modification on the unit not
described in this instruction manual
and do not insert anything into the air
vents, otherwise you will risk an elec-
tric shock!
Please observe the following items in any case:
G
The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0 – 40 °C).
G
Do not place any vessel filled with liquid on the
unit, e. g. a drinking glass.
G
Do not operate the unit and immediately discon-
nect the mains plug from the mains socket
1. if there is visible damage to the unit or to the
mains cable,
2. if a defect might have occurred after the unit
was dropped or suffered a similar accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the unit must be repaired by skilled
personnel.
G
A damaged mains cable must only be replaced by
skilled personnel.
G
Never pull the mains cable for disconnecting the
mains plug from the mains socket, always seize
the plug.
G
When transporting the unit, only seize the lower
part of the unit. Never carry the unit by the pan
head (9) or the rotary arm (11).
G
For cleaning the housing only use a dry, soft cloth,
never use chemicals or water. For the lens, a com-
mercial glass cleaner may also be used.
