Move the far tractor to tighten the paper.
Lock the far tractor.
Check the paper.
Close the home-position tractor door.

Stretch the paper enough so it does not sag, but not so tightly as
to distort the pin-feed holes.
Push the locking lever toward the printer to secure the tractor.
There must not be any tears or wrinkles.
