Checks and maintenance

Fuel level

1. Use the fuel gauge on the top of the generator to check fuel level
2. If low, top up using regular unleaded gasoline
3. Fill to the base of the filter
4. Replace fuel tank cap
Note: If checking after use, allow the unit to cool sufficiently before opening fuel cap.

Spark plug

1. Remove spark plug cap and unscrew the spark
plug using the tool.
2. Carefully clean any carbon build-up on the tip.

3. Check the gap using a gauge. The gap should
be between 0.7-0.8mm.
4. Adjust as necessary then reinstall the plug and
cap taking care not to cross-thread the spark
plug.
