Before Starting

Add fuel:
1. Place generator on a level surface
2. Open the filler cap
3. Fill with unleaded petrol up to the filter
4. Replace filler cap
Add oil:
Note: the generator will automatically shut down if insufficient oil is detected.
1. Place generator on a level surface
2. Open the oil filler bung
3. Fill with 10W-40 semi-synthetic oil up to the threads
4. Replace oil filler bung
Remove the two bolts
holding the side panel in
place.

Unscrew the oil filler bung
and top up using the
supplied funnel.

Ensure the oil is topped up to
the upper level.
