Assembly and Using

The Assembly of the Grinding Wheel

Assemble the grinding wheel on the
grinding wheel arbor, as shown in the
picture. The smooth side has to be
mounted away from the arbor.
Fix the grinding wheel in the tool collet of
the drilling machine. If necessary, adjust
the position of the safety hood. The saw
blade sharpener is now ready for use.

Sharpening small and standard Circular Saw Blades

Adjust the distance of the cross slide from the grinding
wheel and the vertical orientation of the saw tooth to the
grinding wheel, depending on the size of the saw blade.
Make sure the saw tooth and the grinding wheel are
adjusted as showin in the darwing.
To do so, undo the wing screw on the bottom side of the
corss slide and push it to the correct distance.
For fine adjustment, tilt the
drilling machine towards
the saw blade until the
grinding wheel reaches
slightly into one of the
spaces between the teeth
of the saw blade. Fix this
position with the Allen
screw on the stop bracket
(4).
