Danger Associated with Batteries
❐ Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts in the device and on the
battery are clean and if necessary, clean them.
❐ Only use the battery type specified in the technical data.
❐ Always replace all batteries. Do not use any different battery types, brands or
batteries with different capacitance. When changing the batteries, check the
polarity (+/-).
❐ Take the batteries out of the unit if they are empty or if you do not use the unit for
a prolonged period of time. Thus you will prevent damages that could occur if the
batteries leak.
❐ If a battery has leaked, ensure that the battery acid does not come into contact
with your skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. In the event of contact with battery
acid, immediately rinse the affected areas off with plenty of clean water and
immediately consult a physician.
❐ Immediately remove a leaked battery from the device. Clean the contacts before
you insert a new battery.
❐ The batteries may not be charged or reactivated with other means, not
disassembled, thrown in a fire, submerged in a liquid or short-circuited.

Device-specific safety notes

❐ Never allow the device to operate without supervision!
❐ Only use accessories included in the product contents or exclusively those
recommended by the manufacturer. Only use original spare parts provided by the
manufacturer.
❐ Do not use the device or the belt if you experience an unpleasant prickling
sensation when using it or if the belt and/or the silicone electrodes exhibit signs of
heavy wear.
❐ If you would like to use a contact medium other than the enclosed gel, please
ensure that the contact medium is preferably water-based.

Environmental conditions

❐ Do not subject the device to extreme temperatures, severe changes in
temperatures, direct sunlight or moisture.
❐ Do not allow the device to fall and do not subject it to strong percussions.
❐ Maintain adequate distance to heat sources such as stovetops or ovens.
❐ Ensure that there is no risk of the device falling in water.
Damages to the device
❐ Check the device for damages prior to each usage session. The device may not be
used if it exhibits visible damages. Do not use the device if it malfunctions or has
fallen down.
❐ In the event the unit is defective, do not attempt to repair it yourself. In the event
of damage, contact the customer service (see section "Customer service").
