Understanding DigiTheatre Decoder
DigiTheatre Decoder is a very versatile piece of equipment, giving you
control over just about every feature of surround sound available.
By just following through this section once, you will see how easily you
can get exactly the effects you want. If you want to change your set-up
in the future, you can use this guide as a reference manual.
Familiarize yourself now with the front of DigiTheatre Decoder. It is
made up of the front panel which you use to control DigiTheatre
Decoder, and the LCD display which tells you what you are doing.
The front panel
The front panel is made up of five buttons, as shown in
figure 26 opposite.
The Power button turns DigiTheatre Decoder on and off.

Test runs DigiTheatre Decoder's test routine, as explained on
•
page 16.
The Test button doubles as the Down button when used with
DigiTheatre Decoder's menus, as explained throughout this section.
Mute cuts the sound off, so you can use it to quickly turn down the
•
volume without turning the system off, for example, if you're
answering the phone.
The Mute button doubles as the Up button when used with
DigiTheatre Decoder's menus, as explained throughout this section.
M stands for Mode, which you use to select DigiTheatre
•
Decoder's modes.
The
symbol stands for Enter, like the Enter key on a PC. If you
•
have changed the mode you want, and don't want to cycle through
DigiTheatre Decoder's other modes, press this.

DigiTheatre Decoder
Die Funktionen
Der DigiTheatre Decoder ist ein vielseitiges Gerät, daß Ihnen die
Kontrolle über alle Features von Surround Sound bietet.
Sie werden beim Durchlesen dieser Bedienungsanleitung feststellen,
wie einfach es ist, DigiTheatre Decoder zu verwenden, wie Sie es
wünschen. Für zukünftige Änderungen können Sie diese Anleitung als
Referenz nutzen.
Machen Sie sich nun mit der Fronteinheit des DigiTheatre Decoders
vertraut. Es besteht aus den die Steuertasten, dem Ein-/Ausschalter
und dem LCD Display. Das LCD Display informiert Sie über alle
Einstellungen am DigiTheatre Decoder.
Die Funktionstasten
An der Frontseite sehen Sie fünf Funktionstasten, wie in Abbildung 26
abgebildet.
Der Power Knopf schaltet DigiTheatre Decoder ein und aus.

Test startet die DigiTheatre Decoder Testroutine , wie auf Seite 16
•
beschrieben.
Der 'Test' Knopf ist doppelt belegt und fungiert in Verbindung mit
der 'Menü' Funktion als Abwärts Knopf. Weitere Beschreibungen
hierzu weiter unten.
Mute schaltet den Ton ab ohne daß Sie den Decoder ausschalten
•
müssen - nützlich z.B. wenn Sie einen Telefonanruf erhalten.
Der 'Mute' Knopf ist doppelt belegt und fungiert in Verbindung mit
der 'Menü' Funktion als Aufwärts Knopf. Weitere Beschreibungen
hierzu weiter unten.
M steht für Menü und navigiert Sie durch die
•
Einstellungsmöglichkeiten des DigiTheatre Decoders.
Das
Symbol steht für Bestätigung , wie die Enter Taste auf einer
•
PC Tastatur. Wenn Sie die gewünschte Einstellung im DigiTheatre
Decoder Menü geändert haben, drücken Sie einfach Bestätigung
und ersparen sich so den Rücklauf durch das Menü.
