Making Basic Measurements
Preparation and caution before measurement
: Observe all warnings and cautions
When connecting the test leads to the device under test connect the common
(COM) test lead before connecting the live lead; when removing the test leads
remove the live test lead before removing the common test lead. The figures on
the following pages show how to make basic measurements.
Measuring ACV/DCV: Auto sense function

Auto sense mode: The instrument displays ACV or DCV whichever is higher (>0.3V).
If the measured voltage is above 660Vac/dc, "> 660Vac/dc" will appear on
the display.
