4. Do not place the empty coffee pot on the hot plate (8).
5. Only place the coffee pot on the hot plate when you are brewing coffee.
REMOVING MANUFACTURING RESIDUES
1. Attention! Prior to using the device for the first time, let it run two or three times with fresh, cold water,
but no coffee grounds. After this process, clean the coffee machine as described in Cleaning and
Maintenance.
FILLING THE WATER TANK
When brewing coffee, always make sure that the coffee pot is clean. Residue in the coffee pot may have a
negative effect on the coffee's flavor.
1. Push on the lever (3) of the coffee pot lid to open it.
2. Fill the coffee pot with fresh, clean and cold water and pour the water into the water tank (10). The
desired number of cups can be read from the filling level marking (4).

Never fill the water tank over marking 10 - (for large cups). The marking 10 – (for large cups) indicates
the maximum number of cups that can be made at once.

4. Close the funnel and make sure it locks into place.

STARTING THE BREWING PROCESS
Attention!
The brewing process can be interrupted or stopped at any time by switching the on/off switch I/0 (7) to 0,
which turns the machine off.
Danger of Burns!
The hot plate (8) the coffee pot stands on during brewing gets hot. During the brewing process do not lean
