Installation

8.3 Circulation air operation

This appliance is designed ex works for
recirculating air operation. To do this,
check inside the hood that the carbon
filters are attached to the right and
left of the motor unit and, if necessary,
install it as described below.
If not supplied, you must obtain these
from the supplier/dealer of your cooker
hood.

8.4 Mounting the carbon filter

1. Remove the metal grease filter.
2. The carbon filter is mounted in two
parts to the right and left of the motor.
Check whether the teeth correspond
to the direction of the rotation of the
respective side.
3. Turn the activated carbon filter onto
the motor housing (usually clockwise).
4. Reinsert the metal filter.

8.5 Electrical connection

Only connect the appliance to the po-
wer supply once it is properly installed.
Never install the appliance if the data
on the rating plate (V) does not agree
with your supply voltage.
You will find the rating plate inside the
appliance, behind the grease filter.
If the extractor hood is fitted with a
standard connector plug, connect this
to an easily accessible standard socket.
If the appliance is not fitted with a con-
nector plug, a two-pole switch, confor-
ming to standards with a minimum open
contact gap of 3 mm is to be installed by
an authorized tradesman in an easily ac-
cessible location.
When the hood is connected to the
mains, all control lamps light up briefly
and the hood switches to standby mode
(accompanied by a beep signal).
