Maximum current rating and fuses in a full
system
In a full system you can connect more ATS1744 isolators.
A control panel, which controls 16 areas, will most probably
have 4 isolators. However all slave loops are fused with
315 mA. In this situation, the total of 5040 mA (16 x 315 mA)
would blow the ATS bus fuse on the control panel. Hence, bear
in mind the fuse capacity of the control panel when you
calculate the bus device current in the system.

Beschreibung
Der ATS1744 Vierfach Datenbus Entkoppler ist ein aktiver
Isolator für den ATS-Datenbus. Er entkoppelt den ATS
Datenbus-Ausgang der EMZ in 4 isolierte ATS Stich-
Busleitungen. Diese Stich-Busleitungen können zur isolierten
Anschaltung in VdS-Anlagen von Busteilnehmern
verschiedener Bereiche verwendet werden. Ein ATS1744
Datenbus Entkoppler kann zur Anschaltung von Bedienteilen
(BDT) oder externen Erweiterungen (AME) von bis zu
4 Sicherungsbereiche verwendet werden.
Ein Kurzschluss oder eine Unterbrechung des Datenbus an
einem Stichausgang beeinflusst nicht die Funktion der anderen
Stich-Ausgänge oder den Bus-Ausgang der EMZ.
Montage des Geräts
Installieren Sie die ATS1744 Platine in einem ATS-
Zentralengehäuse bzw. Zusatzgehäuse, welches die
Aufnahme des BB-Platinenformats zulässt.
Anschlussklemmen
J1 COMMS Eingang - Master Bus von Zentrale
+12 / 0V: 12 VDC Versorgung. Stromaufnahme 39 mA max.
ohne andere angeschaltete Geräte.
D+ / D−: Positive und negative Datenverbindung des RS485
Datenbus.
J2 to J5 COMMS Stichausgang – BDT/AME Bus
+12 / 0V: 12 VDC Versorgungsspannung. 300 mA max.
D+ / D−: Positive and negative Datenverbindung des RS485
Datenbus. Teilnehmer können bis zu 1.5 km von einem 4-Tür
Controller oder Einbruchmeldezentrale je nach verwendeten
Kabelyp abgesetzt montiert werden. Der empfohlener Kabeltyp
ist WCAT52/54; 2-paarig verdralltes abgeschirmtes
Datenkabel bzw. Fernmeldekabel.
J12 Erdungsanschluss
Dient zur Anschaltung des Schirmbeidrahts des ATS
Datenbuskabels. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Abschirmung
an einer gemeinsamen Systemerdung erfolgt. Siehe auch
Installationsanleitung der ATS-Einbruchmeldezentrale.
