CLEANING
Unplug your coffee maker before cleaning it. Pull out the filter holder Fig. 9.
The jug, lid and filter holder are dishwasher safe.
Wipe the body of the appliance with a soft cloth.
DESCALING
Descale your appliance every 40 cycles.
You can use:
- Either a sachet of descaler suitable for use in coffee maker diluted in 2 cups of water.
- Or 2 cups of commercially available white vinegar which can be purchased from your local hardware
store.
Pour the mixture into the tank and start the coffee maker (do not add any coffee).
Allow the equivalent of one cup to drip into the jug (d) then switch off the coffee maker.
Leave the descaling mixture remaining in the coffee maker to work for one hour.
Start the coffee maker again to complete the cycle.
Before using again, run the appliance 2 or 3 times with a full tank of clean water do not drink this water.
Important: do not leave the sachet of descaler within reach of children.
Our guarantee excludes coffee makers not working or not running correctly due to lack of
descaling.
WINDING THE POWER CORD
The power cord winder located under the appliance allows you to adjust the length of the cord Fig. 10.
