Mounting and Connection Instructions mifare/LEGIC reader PCB for LED, LED/LCD Keypad for MB-Secure

Remove the PC board
Use a suitable screwdriver to remove the 7 screws securing the PCB.
Remove the PCB from the housing.

Remove proX antenna
1. Interrupt connection wires of the antenna (solder or cut off).
2. Dissolve the 3 fixing adhesive dots with heat.

Insert reader PCB
1. Insert the reader PCB socket into the keypad plug and push care-
fully until it stops (see fig. below).
After the installation: Make sure that the cover contact (Micro
switch) rests flat on the keypad PCB.

Fix reader PCB:
Press the 2 Lemosa spacers (pre-assembled on the reader
PCB) into the keypad PCB until they click into place correctly.
3.
Install the electronic board of the keypad back into the housing.
Carry out the reassembling of the PCB in the reverse order
step 5.

Modify BUS-2 connector
The BUS-2 modification is only required when using the mifare reader
PCB (Item No. 013060).
For reasons of noise immunity, the
current BUS-2 terminal must be
replaced by the attached terminal
with filter.

10. Fasten front unit again
Fasten the keypad front with 4 screws at the spots marked

Seal the housing after correctly mounting and testing the system.
Press the VdS adhesive label (Item No. 050097) over the 2 diagonally
located screws.
11. Fasten front panel
Note: The procedure for LED / LCD keypad is identical.
To engage the front panel we recommend the following procedure:
1.
Insert the front panel with the latching lugs at the bottom
housing frame.

Push down the two side latching lugs above
