2.1

Intended use

The xM10 function module extends the control functions of the
energy management system (EMS) and must only be used in
combination with the EMS and its components.
▶ Only use the device for its intended purpose.
▶ Observe all country-specific regulations and standards
during installation and
operation.
For wall mounting, the IP rating of the function module is
IP_XOD (if all cable entries are sealed), i.e. it must only be
installed in dry rooms. The total length of the BUS cable must
not exceed 100 m (the extent of the EMS).
For wall mounted boilers and floor standing boilers, the IP
rating of the function module is determined by the boiler or the
control unit.
2.2

Declaration of Conformity

In terms of design and operation, this product conforms to the
European Directives and supplementary national
requirements. Compliance is demonstrated by the
CE marking. You can request the declaration of conformity for
the product from your distribution partner.

encoder behind the data plate [1] must be set to position 2.
This position corresponds to heating circuit 2.
