a� The EDAM LED shows solid green for approximately 15 seconds while the Display
connects to the SDC3�
b� The connection is complete when the LED indicator light is blinking green�

Using the VisionPro EDAM

The VisionPro EDAM has an LED indicator light that shows the status of the device�
Solid Red: The EDAM is disconnected from the Display�

• Solid Green: Initializing� The EDAM is connected to the Display and the SDC3 device port
and starting up�
Blinking Green: Communicating� The EDAM is connected to the Display and the SDC3

device port and sending data�
Off: The EDAM is not connected to the SDC3 device port�

Cleaning and Maintenance

Cautions
1� The EDAM is not sterilizable, and is not intended for use within the sterile field�
2� Do not soak the EDAM in water or any form of detergent or disinfectant�
3� Do not use corrosive cleaning agents�
Cleaning
Should the EDAM need cleaning, apply mild detergent or disenfectant to a damp cloth and wipe
the EDAM�
Maintenance
The VisionPro Display EDAM requires no periodic maintenance�
Disposal
This product contains electrical waste or electronic equipment� It must not be
disposed of as unsorted municipal waste and must be collected separately in
accordance with applicable national or institutional related policies relating to
obsolete electronic equipment�
Dispose of any system accessories according to normal institutional practice relating to
potentially contaminated items�
Expected Service Life
The expected service life of the VisionPro Display EDAM is 5 years�
