SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS

All maintenance operations can be performed without special tools with the exception of changing the visor frames.
Inhalation valve flaps
Inhalation valve flaps can be replaced by hand and put back in place. Make sure that the valve flap is correctly positioned.
Exhalation valve flap ("negative pressure masks")
•
Unclip the connector grille.
•
Remove the old valve flap.
•
Insert the new one, ensuring that it is clean (free of dust).
•
Clip back the grille.
Inner mask
•
Remove the old inner mask.
•
Insert the new one, positioning it in the groove in the connector.
Mask connector
•
Unclip the connector grille.
•
Push the connector hard to expel it from the visor.
•
Remove the O-ring seal and the exhalation valve flap.
•
Insert a new exhalation valve flap.
•
Grease the groove in the connector for the O-ring seal.
•
Put a new O-ring seal in place.
•
Refit the complete connector from the inside of the visor.
Visor
•
Remove the screws from the visor frame.
•
Remove the visor from the groove in the face blank and check that the latter is clean.
•
Remove the connector with the O-ring seal.
•
Remove the filter holders by lifting the clamp and turning the holder.
•
Place the connector inside the new visor.
•
Ease the visor into the groove and ensure it is correctly positioned all round.
•
Position the visor frame and tighten the fastening nuts again.
•
Re-place a holder seal in the new visor.
•
Press in the filter holder until the clamp is in place.
Head harness
•
Remove the harness by pulling firmly on the ends to extract it from the metal rectangles.
•
Fit the new harness.
