Troubleshooting guide

Always consult this troubleshooting guide before contacting the technical service to avoid
potentially unnecessary charges.
For your safety, ensure that the fan is not connected to power before attempting the solutions
suggested in this troubleshooting guide.
Symptom
1. The fan does not work (Impor-
tant notice: The device must be dis-
connected from the power supply
and the assistance of a certified
electrician may be necessary)
2. Fan wobbling (follow the instruc-
tions in the "Wobbling" section of
this manual)
3. Excessive noise when the fan
moves
4. Mechanical noise
5. The lights does not turn on
6. The fan turns but the airflow is
inadequate
Maintenance and information of warranty
Maintenance and cleaning:
1.The fan's natural movement can cause certain connections to loosen. Check mounting
connections, fastening parts, and blade accessories twice a year. Check that they are well
fastened.
2. Clean the fan periodically to help maintain its new appearance. Do not use water to clean
it, as this may damage the motor or the wood, or could cause electrical shock.
3. Use only a soft brush or microfiber cloth as to not scratch the finish. The veneer is sealed
with a layer of lacquer to minimize discoloration or loss of shine.
4. It is not necessary to oil the fan. The motor contains bearings with permanent lubrica-
tion.
Note: Failure to comply with these instructions results in the loss of the equipment warranty.
Warranty service:
The manufacturer's warranty covers real failures that may occur but not minor complaints
such as the noise generated by the device, as all electric motors generate a certain amount
of noise.
Operating the fan with slightly loose components (screws not adequately tightened) or the
deformation of blades due to excessively vigorous cleaning may cause excessive noise and
wobbling, which will not be covered by the warranty. Taking regular care to retighten elements
and clean carefully is enough to prevent these problems.
Control:
Probable causes
A. The fuse is blown or the switch is "open", disconnecting the power
supply to the device
B. System wiring connections are not adequately tightened
C. The remote control is unresponsive
D. No power supply
A. The fan blades are not parallel to the ceiling
B. Blade fastening screws are loose
C. Deformed blades
A. Upper canopy is touching the ceiling
B. Blade fastening screws are loose
C. Ceiling mounting is loose
D. Incorrect remote control
A. If this is the first use, leave the fan on for at least 8 hours. In the event that mechanical noise continues after this period, contact the
technical service
A. The light is defective
A. Incorrect blade rotation direction
B. Inadequate distance between the ceiling and blades
C. Existence of nearby objects
D. Inadequate blade diameter
Solution
Check the fuses and switches on the device installation power cir-
cuit
Check that wiring connections have been done correctly. They must
be carried out by a certified electrician.
Replace the remote control battery if necessary. Otherwise, resyn-
chronize the transmitter and receiver.
Check that the system has power and that it reaches the device.
Follow the instructions indicated in the "Balancing" section of this
manual.
Follow the instructions indicated in the "Balancing" section of this
manual.
Follow the instructions indicated in the "Balancing" section of this
manual.
Lower the upper canopy, ensuring a separation from the ceiling of
no less than 3 mm.
Tighten all fastening screws once again (but not excessively)
Retighten all ceiling mount screws
Replace the remote control with that provided with the device. This
must be supervised by a certified electrician. Contact the distributor
Replace the light
The blades may be rotating in the opposite direction. Follow the
directions in the "Rotation Direction" section of this manual.
Installing a fan without a shaft, flush with the ceiling, can reduce
airflow.
There may exist objects in the room that block airflow.
The fan chosen may be too small for the volume of the room where
it is installed
