Application
Can be used in conjunction with: Pressurised storage
heaters, thermally and hydraulically controlled
instantaneous heaters. Operation with low-pressure
displacement water heaters is not possible.
Technical Data
• Flow pressure
min. 0.5 bar / recommended 1 - 5 bar
• Operating pressure
• Test pressure
If static pressure exceeds 5 bar, a pressure reducing valve
must be fitted.
Avoid major pressure differences between hot and cold
water supply.
• Flow rate at 3 bar flow pressure

Recommended:
Scalding protection possible by fitting a temperature
limiter (see replacement parts fold-out page I,
order no.: 46 308)
• Water connection
Installation
Flush pipes thoroughly.
Install S-unions and fit mixer, for required dimensions,
see fold-out page II, Fig. [1].

Function of automatic diverter (A), see Fig. [3].
Pulling the lever will release water delivery.
Water will emerge from the bath outlet first.
Press diverter knob = to divert flow from bath inlet
Pull diverter button
= to divert flow from shower outlet
Flow is diverted automatically from shower outlet to bath
inlet when the mixer is turned off.
Flow rate limiter
This mixer is fitted with an adjustable flow rate limiter,
permitting an infinitely variable individual reduction in flow
rate. The highest possible flow rate is set by the factory
before despatch.
The use of flow rate limiters in combination with
hydraulic instantaneous water heaters is not
recommended.
To activate, see "Replacing the cartridge" steps 1 to 3,
Figs. [4] and [5].
Maintenance
Inspect and clean all parts, replace as necessary and
grease with Grohe special grease (order no. 18 012).
Shut off cold and hot water supply.
