The internal overheating protection has been activated. Let the fan heater cool down and check
whether the air inlet grid and air outlet grid (2) are unobstructed.
The heating element is faulty. Contact the service department.

9. Maintenance / cleaning

9.1. Maintenance

Maintenance work is required if the fan heater has been damaged, liquids or objects have
got inside the device, the fan heater has been exposed to rain or moisture or if the fan
heater is not functioning properly or has been dropped. If you notice any smoke, unusual
noises or smells, switch off the fan heater immediately and remove the plug from the
socket. If this happens, you must stop using the fan heater until it has been checked by a
specialist. All maintenance work should only be carried out by qualified specialists. Never
open the housing of the fan heater.

9.2. Cleaning

DANGER! Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning. There is a risk of electric
shock.
DANGER! Wait until the fan heater has cooled down. Otherwise, there is a risk of burn
injuries.
Clean the fan heater at regular intervals. Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the fan heater and
never use cleaning agents or solvents that react with plastics.
If the fan heater's air inlet grid or air outlet grid (2) are dirty, you can also use a hoover to vacuum
them.

10. Storing the fan heater when not in use

DANGER! Wait until the fan heater has cooled down. Otherwise, there is a risk of burn
injuries or fire.
If you don't want to use the fan heater for a long period of time, remove the power cable (3) from
the socket and store the fan heater in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
