7.3. Fan operation (without heating function)

You have the option of using the fan heater purely as a fan (without heating function). Proceed as
follows:

Turn the operating mode switch (4) to "0".

Turn the thermostat (7) in a clockwise direction as far as it'll go.

Turn the operating mode switch (4) to " ".

The fan will switch on and the operating control light (6) will light up.

7.4. Heating mode


The first time you use the fan heater or if you want to adjust the temperature, turn the thermostat
(7) in a clockwise direction as far as it'll go.

Turn the operating mode switch (4) to "I" or "II".

The fan and the heating element will switch on and the operating control light (6) will light up.
In operating mode "I", the heat output will be approx. 1000 W, and in operating mode
"II", the heat output will be approx. 2000 W.
If you want to heat up the room quickly, you should select operating mode "II", otherwise
select operating mode "I".

7.5. Setting the temperature


Firstly, turn the thermostat (7) in a clockwise direction as far as it'll go.

When the desired room temperature has been reached, slowly turn the thermostat (7) in an
anticlockwise direction until you hear a quiet click sound. The operating control light (6) will go
out and the heating element will switch off.

From this point on, the thermostat (7) will take over control of the fan heater and keep the room
temperature constant at the value specified. For that purpose, the thermostat (7) will
automatically switch the heating element and fan on and off.
The thermostat (7) is infinitely variable and gives you the
opportunity to preset a temperature, at which the fan
heater is automatically switched off.
Turn in a clockwise direction to set a higher temperature.
A lower temperature can be set by turning the thermostat
(7) in an anticlockwise direction.
