4 Use
4.1 Use without power lead
Switch the clippers on by pressing the On/Off button (Figure 1, E). With a new, fully
charged battery, the clippers can be used without the power lead for about 90
minutes. The indicator lights showing the remaining battery charge level come on;
see Figure 1, refs. G and H for details.
4.2 Use with power lead
When the battery is discharged, the clippers can be used with the power lead
connected directly to the clipper socket (Figure 2).

4.3 Adjusting the cutting height

Constant care must be taken when using the clippers near the ears. Protect the ear
with your hand to avoid all risk of injury due to the cutter.
There are four (4) possible cutting
heights: 1.0 mm, 1.3 mm, 1.6 mm and
1.9 mm.
To reduce the cutting height (cut the
hair shorter): push the sliding knob (B)
upwards. Set the cutting height as
shown by the indicator (C).
To increase the cutting height (cut
the hair longer): press the release
button (A) and push the sliding knob
(B) downwards. Set the cutting height
as shown by the indicator (C).
