6. INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION

Disconnect the negative terminal of the car battery.

Insert the mounting frame into the vehicle's dashboard unit.
To secure the mounting frame, bend the pins with a screwdriver at
appropriate points on the frame so that the mounting frame sits
securely in the vehicle's dashboard unit.

Connect the vehicle wiring harness to the radio
For some vehicle manufacturers, the A4 (clamp 30 perma-
nent plus) and A7 (clamp 15 ignition plus) may be reversed.
If this is the case, the radio will lose any set programme me-
mory slots whenever the ignition of the vehicle is switched off.
In this case, please contact your vehicle service partner or a
specialised dealer for
car stereo accessories.
