Important notes
1. If the yellow LED – 1st switching threshold
– lights up when the device is switched on
in the fresh air, either the sensor is soiled
or the device has not been in operation
for a longer time. This effect can be elimi-
nated by switching the device on and off
several times in succession or allowing a
15-minute warm-up phase.
2. The device must not be re-calibrated in
this case! Fluctuations in ambient air do
not influence the measuring procedure,
the zero-point of the sensor is updated
after this time to the air quality. The 1st
switching threshold reacts to changes in
concentration of the gas to be measu-
red.For safety reasons, the device's 2nd
switching threshold works statically, i.e.
the red LED lights up immediately when
the concentration of gas in the room is 1
Vol%.

Safety aspects!
Handling the device requires detailed know-
ledge and close observation of the operating
instructions. The gas warning unit may only
be used for the application described.
The gas warning unit has been calibrated for
natural gas and propane gas. Other combus-
tible gases are also indicated, but deviate
from the calibration data. Do not expose the
gas warning unit to any extreme fluctuations
in temperature. If the device is stored at un-
der 0°C, it should be switched on at least 10
minutes before work is started. The gas war-
ning unit is not explosion-proof and therefo-
re may not be used in potentially explosive
atmospheres. The sensor should not be ex-
posed to any silicones or silicone vapours,
this will lead to its destruction. Functional
tests with direct application of lighter fuel
will also only lead to the sensor being des-
troyed.
1. Repairs on the gas warning unit may only
be carried out by specially instructed
staff.
2. If the device has been stored for a longer
time before use, switch it on and off again
several times to make sure the sensor
cleans itself of deposits.
3. In the case of incorrect use or improper
maintenance, liability always passes to
the operator or owner.
