• For the maintenance and cleaning of your kettle, refer to the
chapters "Cleaning and Maintenance" and "Descaling"�
• The surfaces are likely to heat up during use�
• Do not use the kettle when you have wet hands or bare feet�
• Remove the plug immediately if you notice any abnormality
when the appliance is on�
• Do not pull on the cord to remove the plug�
• Do not let the power cord hang from a table or work surface to
prevent the appliance from falling�
• Always remain vigilant when the appliance is on and pay
particular attention to the steam released from the spout,
which is very hot�
• Only touch the kettle via the handle�
• Never touch the lid� The water is boiling hot, so the lid
becomes very hot�
• Never move the kettle while it is on�
• Protect the appliance from moisture and sources of high

• If your appliance falls or is damaged in any way, have it
checked by an approved service centre�
• Unplug your appliance when not used for prolonged periods
