• Turn the collar to the right for a finer
grind.
• Turn the collar to the left for a coarser
grind.
• You can select intermediate grinding
positions in addition to the marked
positions.
• Do not turn beyond "STOP" setting.
Cleaning and safety instructions
Cleaning
• Do not immerse the mill in liquid or put
it in a dishwasher. Do not use with wet
hands.
• Use only a soft dry cloth to clean. Do not
use cleaning products or detergent.
• Replacing the light bulb: See
diagram .
Important
• Do not keep your finger on the on/off
switch continuously - it is better to grind in
short bursts.
• Do not insert your fingers or any other
object into the grinding mechanism.
• Always keep the mill and its packaging
out of the reach of children.
• Keep the mill in a dry place away from
heat or damp or icy conditions.
• We recommend that you store the mill in
an upright position.
Trouble-shooting
There are three possible problems:
1- Faulty light
Check that the contacts are clean
• Separate the motor compartment from
the pepper compartment.
• Replace the motor compartment on the
pepper compartment.
Ensure that a light bulb is fitted
• If one is fitted, it may not be making a
contact so replace it (see diagram
• If there is no light bulb or it is broken:
insert a new one as shown in diagram
.
2- The motor is working but the mill does
not grind
• Check that the pepper compartment
contains sufficient pepper and nothing else.
• Press the on/off switch with the mill set
to coarse grind.
3- The motor is not working
• Replace the batteries as shown in
diagram .
• Then press the "on/off "switch with the
mill set to coarse grind.
If your mill still does not work, return it to
your retailer in its original packaging
together with the guarantee card that was
filled in when it was purchased.

• The manufacturer declares that this mill
complies with EC standards.
RoHS compliance : this product complies
with the 2002/95/EC Directive.
• At the end of its life, do not dispose of
this mill in your dustbin. Please
recycle - remove the batteries and
deposit the mill in a receptacle
designated for electrical waste or
return it to your retailer.

guaranteed for two years from the date of
