Thank you for buying a Peugeot
electric pepper mill.
Important information
and safety instructions
Before using your u'select mill
for the first time:
• Please read the user guide carefully and
follow the instructions to keep your mill in
optimum condition.
• Examine your mill to ensure it has not
been damaged in transit.
Maintenance should be limited to
cleaning the mill and replacing the
batteries or bulb. Any other work by an
unqualified person could result in injury to
the user.
The manufacturer will not accept liability
arising from any abuse, use or treatment
not in accordance with these instructions.
Installing and
replacing the batteries
• Separate the motor block from the
compartment .
• Remove the motor by pushing the clips
on the inside with a pointed object, such
as a pen .
• Place 6 AAA Alkaline batteries in the
battery housing .
• Pay attention to the polarity +/-
markings.
• In order to replace the motor in the
motor unit ensure that the arrows
coincide as shown in diagram .
• Replace the motor block
.
Important
• Never leave flat batteries in the mill.
Remove batteries when the mill is not in
use for an extended period of time.
• Use only non-rechargable AAA/LR03
alkaline mercury free batteries to ensure
maximum motor power.
• Always replace all the batteries at the
same time with six new AAA/LR03
alkaline batteries of the same brand.
Any of the following may cause the
batteries to leak and damage
your mill:
• Unused mill, stored for several months.
• Exceeding the battery use by date.
• Using flat batteries.
• Exposing to a heat source.

Important
• For best results, use
diameter of 5mm or less.
• This electric mill is designed specifically
to grind pepper. Do not use it for salt or
any other spice, not even the berries
sometimes called "pink pepper" or
"Fagara pepper" as they have a tendency
to clog the mechanism.
