We suggest that these operations be carried out when water drops leaking out of the soleplate are noticed, and in any case
every 3 months.

Cleaning the soleplate

- Before cleaning the iron, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has completely cooled down.
- Do not use abrasives on the soleplate.
- Deposits and other residues on the soleplate can be removed with a rough cloth soaked in a vinegar / water solution.
- Keep the soleplate smooth: avoid hard contact with metal objects.

Cleaning the boiler

- Using the measure, pour 1/4 vinegar and 1/4 distilled water into the boiler.
- Rinse the boiler several times until the water comes out clean.
- Turn on the iron. Press switch (7) to "I" (Fig. C).
- Let sit for 4-5 minutes, and shake vigorously.
- Let cool for 10 minutes, push the steam push button until no more steam comes out and then unscrew and empty.
Repeat the boiler cleaning operation at least every three months, or more frequently, depending on use of the ap-
pliance and the type of water used.
