• The device is not intended for use by persons, whether adults or children,
with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of practical
experience with household appliances, unless they are supervised for
their own safety by a responsible person or receive clear instructions
from them in the use of the device.
• Never to be placed on a hot surface or close to open flames.
• Only to be used with the supplied accessory parts, otherwise you will
damage the device.
• Never allow hands, hair, loose clothing or other objects to come into
contact with the blades. The blades are extremely sharp for an optimum
cutting result.
• The device is only intended for private and not commercial use.
• For the slicing of two types of food at the same time, you will need a
powerful current. If this is not possible, slice the two foods individually,
one after the other.
APPLICATION:
The Nicer Dicer Magic Cube combines various functions on 4
different working surfaces. Slip-resistant feet on the corners
guarantee a secure footing on your working surface, at each
time of use. Clean all component parts, prior to first time of
use, with a commercially available detergent under running
water.
CAUTION: Be sure to close the currently in use working
surface or reattach all protective covers, prior to rotating
the Nicer Dicer Magic Cube
1 Cutter:
Underneath the protective cover you will find a securely inte-
grated cutter for easy cutting of slices and/or strips. For your
safety, you should always use the cutting holder. Place the item
to be cut on the supplied plate and attach the cutting holder
centrally, so that the three integrated metal needles can pierce
into the item to be cut, and to prevent slippage (see illustration 1).
When slicing, the overlying palm of the hand or finger pushes
the grounder downwards, ensuring an automatic feeding of
the item to be cut, until it is almost fully processed. Be sure
to move the holder above the cutter, in the direction of the
printed arrows (see illustration 2). The protective cover should
always be closed when not in use, at the same time ensuring
that the holding device is audibly engaged.
Tip:
• The two bulges on the underside of the cutting holder
also provide a secure support for longer food items, such
as courgettes or cucumbers.
2 Upper-section cutter with blade adapter:
The upper-section cutter can be found on the opposite side of
the cutter. The blade adapter for small diced cubes and
smaller diced cubes/spikes or the Nicer Julietti Smart can be
inserted here.
Blade adapter:
To open the upper-section cutter, slacken the lock lift up the
lid and place the blade adapter in the appropriate notch in the
casing. Firstly, be sure to place the adapter on the side facing
the upper-section cutter. Now, press down, until the blade
adapter is audibly engaged.
If you only wish to use one cutting surface, the desired cutting
surface must be at Position 1 (see illustration 3). It is possible
to slice two different types of food at the same time. In doing
so, the following should be observed: if one food item to
be cut is tougher than the other, place the tougher item at
Position 1 (stronger lever force), if one food item to be cut is
larger than the other, place it at Position 2 (longer leverage)
(see illustration 3).
Please note: Please be aware that no solid foods, such as
carrots, pumpkin, stone fruits or similar should be cut with the
blade adapters. Apples, pears, peaches, apricots, etc should
only be sliced cored or without stones, and bananas, pineap-
ples, melons, papaya, mango, etc only without the skin.
Place the item to be cut on the desired cutting surface (foods
with skin/membrane, such as stuffed bell peppers or pears,
must be placed with the skin/membrane facing upwards on
the blade adapter when slicing). Please be aware that the
foods must be cut in small portions to fit the cutting surface,
so that there is sufficient clearance between the foods and
the casing of the blade adapter on all four sides. With large
portions or such like, which should be cut in an upright posi-
tion, press on the item to be cut with the upper-section cutter,
so that it cannot slip out of position any further. If a certain
type of food CANNOT be easily pressed upon, then it is NOT
suitable for this way of cutting.
