Installat 1. To avoid short circuits, disconnect the negative "-" battery

terminal before you start dismantling the dashboard.
2. Connect the cable harness to the car stereo and then to
Car Connect using the 20 pin connector.
Pin Use
1 Power supply (12 V)
2 Ignition input (12 V)
3 Power earth
6 Illumination (12 V)
10 Audio earth
14 Positive trigger mute for head unit (pull to
12 V)
16 Negative trigger mute for head unit (pull to
0 V)
17 Microphone input for hands-free calls
18 Microphone earth
19 Audio out left channel
20 Audio out right channel
Note: The cable harness supplied in the box is for ISO-
compliant cable harnesses only. If your car connectors
are not ISO-compliant, you will need a different cable
harness.
