Coaxial Digital
Connect the Coaxial cable for transmission of digital Audio signals to
your playback device or your amplifi er.
1. Plug the Audio jack into the socket on the back of the player.
2. Plug the Audio jack into the corresponding socket on your playback
device or your amplifi er. In the "Audio setup" menu select the "Audio
Out" submenu ➯ Page 61, „Audio Setup". Please see the operating
instructions of the connected device for the correct setting.
Optical Digital
Connect an optical cable for transmitting the digital audio signal with
your playback device or amplifi er.
1. Insert the optical plug into the socket on the rear of the device.
2. Insert the optical plug into the corresponding socket of your play-
back device or amplifi er. In the "Audio setup" menu select the "Audio
Out" submenu ➯ Page 61, „Audio Setup". Please see the operating
instructions of the connected device for the correct setting.
Supplied Loudspeakers
Connect the loudspeakers supplied to the „SPEAKERS OUT L/R" sockets
on the rear.
Antenna Input
This device has a built-in FM/AM radio receiver.
FM reception:
Connect the cable of your antenna system to the FM socket on the
rear of the device.
AM/MW reception:
Connect a medium wave aerial to the AM sockets on the back of the
device.
USB Input (on the Front)
Connect your output device to the socket on the front of the DVD play-
er. Use a corresponding USB adapter cable if necessary.
