Safety instructions

It is of the utmost importance to always comply with the safety instructions. This will allow you
to make optimal and safe use of the Finimaster II.
Although the manufacturer has taken all possible precautions to ensure safe use of the Finimas-
ter II, users must always observe the following guidelines:
• Never use the machine without the protective cover.
• Always wear goggles.
• Use ear protection gear.
• Wear suitable (work) clothing. Tie up long hair, and remove jewellery
and any loose hanging items.
• Be aware of possible overloading.
• Fix the workpiece with clamps or put it in a vice. Do not hold in your hand!
• Make sure that the sanding parts are fixed firmly on the shaft before starting the machine.
• Do not leave any tool spanners on the machine.
• Always use both hands to support and guide the machine.
Also use the handle on the protective cover.
• Switch the machine off and disconnect from the power socket during breaks, at the end
of work, etc. Never pull the plug out by the cable, and never carry the machine by the cable.
• Never allow unauthorised persons to use the machine. When it is not being used,
store the machine out of the reach of children.
• Only use suitable tools and accessories. Keep these in a dry and dust-free location.
Inspect the machine and check tools before fitting the tools on the machine.
• Do not use the machine while it is running idle in a vice or other clamping tool.
Other machines are available on the market for this.
• Only have the machine repaired by qualified persons using original parts.
• The machine must not be used in a location or a space where there is a risk of explosion.
The use of additional personal protection equipment is to be considered by the
user depending on the circumstances.
