Operation:
After installing the batteries, follow these instructions to use the device.
1. Connect the cable to the connection socket on the right-hand side of the device.
2. Turn the device on by pressing and briefly holding ON/OFF on the touch display

Easily set the desired target temperature by pressing the arrows - left to go lower,
right to go higher.

Insert the probe into the middle of the meat/food, making sure not to
pierce through.
CAUTION! The probe must not come into contact with open fire.
5. The device emits an alarm signal when the meat/food has reached the configured target temperature.
6. Press any key to turn off the alarm.
7. You can also turn off the alarm completely in advance by pressing both arrows simultaneously.
Press both arrows simultaneously to turn the alarm back on again.
8. Press and hold ON/OFF on the touch display
Backlighting:
Press any key to light up the display for about 10 seconds.
Safety instructions:
Caution
 Use a towel or gloves to remove the probe from the meat/food.
The probe is hot!
 Do not pull on the cable.
 Clean the probe by wiping it with a damp cloth and some washing-up liquid.
 Never expose the connector or the connection socket to water, steam or liquids. This leads to a faulty
connection and incorrect readings. Dry the connector and the connection socket before each use with a
dry cloth.
 The cable must not come into contact with open fire, the barbecue coal, the grate or baking sheets -
they often heat up to well over +350°C (even if the oven is set to a lower temperature). The cable can
be damaged by higher temperatures. The inner insulation melts and can short-circuit the probe.
 Avoid repeatedly bending or twisting the cable, as this damages the inner wires.
